SHASTA COUNTY, CALIF. – On Thursday, a U.S. advisory panel endorsed the use of the Pfizer vaccine.
Shasta County is set to receive about 2000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine sometime next week.
Healthcare workers would be the first group of people to get vaccinated. That would include people living and working in long term care facilities, such as skilled nursing facilities.
