Streateries Add Permanent Outdoor Dining Spaces - Cincinnati Magazine

Cincinnati Magazine Photograph courtesy 3CDC Walking through Over-the-Rhine will feel like a stroll through a European town this summer as the city continues to roll out its new “streateries” program. The outdoor dining initiative is currently in its first phase, which will include a total of 49 new parklets, five zones with sidewalk bump-outs, and four partial street closures to provide restaurants and bars with permanent patio space. Cutting out Zoom happy hours, to-go cocktails and all those nightcaps sounds like a great idea on paper, though, the reality of a seltzer-soaked month is kind of … well, boring. But it doesn’t have to be! We hit up some local mixologists for zero-proof mocktail recipes that will transform your quarantine kitchen into a high-end, booze-free bar.
