Warehouse developer Trammell Crow has filed a lawsuit against Bethlehem Township, contending that the township improperly rejected a permitted land use.
The plan for an apartment complex next to Wehrung s hardware store had been circulating before township officials for six years before it got rejected Thursday.
Dallas-based Trammell Crow has proposed an 866,350-square-foot warehouse for 1600 Freemansburg Ave., a property that straddles the border of the township and the Borough of Freemansburg.
Bethlehem Township s Board of Commissioners rejected a plan for a warehouse last week, and that requires the township to make a formal response to the would-be developer, Trammell Crow.
