CEDAR FALLS The UNI New Horizons Band will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. April 30 in the Catherine Cassidy Gallagher Great Hall at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts
The concert with the Northern Iowa Youth Orchestra features a blend of East and West music, including Rimsky-Korsakov s Russian Easter Overture and Tchaikovsky s Symphony No. 6.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles, this opera is part of Puccini s "Il trittico" trilogy and is a great introduction for opera newcomers due to its brevity and captivating story.
