Buzz: The Panthers (12-17) pulled out the win in 8 innings to advance into Tuesday’s regional semifinal against Bishop Moore. Scout Updike struck out 8 in the final 7 innings to get the pitching win, while Ty Van Dyke had a hit and RBI.

As a student, Buckner studied leadership and development, worked in several restaurants in College Station and had the opportunity to study baking abroad. Buckner said the support of her academic advisor allowed her to pursue this passion.
âWhile I was in school, I had an amazing advisor who was able to get me school credit. I worked in Ireland for a summer in one of the oldest running bakeries, and it was phenomenal,â Buckner said. âI worked locally at Sweet Eugeneâs ⦠from 12 to 6 a.m.â

BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS â Some local businesses are still seeing the damage left behind from our last huge and gruesome cold front.
While some had business roots with well-seeded storefronts to tend to, others were just starting out and opening doors for the very first time.
We may not know the true impact the arctic blast had on local businesses for quite some time. Despite the challenges the cold brought, business owners had a choice to make, and neither one included letting the BCS community down.
