INSPIRATIONAL fund raiser Cath Muir who suffers from motor neurone disease has been presented with a special tribute from the Prime Minister after raising more than £60,000 while making meals for vulnerable people and creating greeting cards during the pandemic. MP Rishi Sunak presented Cath with the Boris Johnson Points of Light award virtually. Cath, from Richmond, who formerly ran a tea rooms was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease in 2014 but has carried on raising money for the support group nationally and locally and during the pandemic making meals in her specially converted garage for vulnerable and elderly people. Mrs Muir previously ran the Cross View Tea Room in Richmond with her husband Ian.
