High School Sports: Cassville hoops hits road for districts (2/24/21)

Cassville earned the No. 5 seed in districts and will face No. 4 East Newton on Tuesday. Kyle Troutman/editor@cassville-democrat.com Girls No. 5, boys No. 6 in district tourneys The Cassville boys and girls basketball teams will both be on the road next week in their respective Class 4, District 12 tournaments. The boys (4-17) received the No. 6 seed and will head to No. 3 Reeds Spring (8-13) for a 7 p.m. tip on Monday. At the same time, No. 4 Aurora (11-11) will host No. 5 Seneca (4-18). The Reeds Spring-Cassville winner will face No. 2 Mt. Vernon (13-7), and the Aurora-Seneca winner will face No. 1 East Newton (23-1), with both semifinal games at 7 p.m. on March 3.
