A vegan beauty magnate who was taken to court accused of making a false insurance claim against Airbnb after a guest allegedly stole several items from her luxury apartment has had charges against her dropped.
Cassandra House faced Southport Magistrates Court on the Gold Coast on Tuesday after being charged with one count of attempted fraud in November last year.
But police failed to provide evidence to the court to support the allegation, resulting in the charge against Ms House being dropped, the Gold Coast Bulletin reported.
