PINE RIVER Four people were arrested in connection with dealing methamphetamine in the area in two separate investigations in rural Pine River.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reported the arrests were a result of an ongoing drug investigation. Investigators executed the first search warrant Dec. 29 at a residence in Barclay Township, in rural Pine River. Authorities seized a large amount of suspected methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia and ammunition. A 61-year-old Pine River woman and a 58-year-old Pine River man were taken into custody and are currently being held in the Crow Wing County Jail in Brainerd. The Cass County Attorney’s Office is preparing criminal charges against the two suspects.
