Kentucky First Lady Britainy Beshear made her first tour Friday since the COVID-19 pandemic in Hardin County.
Beshear visited all four Fort Knox Community Schools and met with and honored âstudents for their sacrifices and resilience as military dependents,â according to a news release.

The day encourages individuals to wear purple to show support for military children, with the color itself symbolizing the combined colors of all military branches. April also is designated as Month of the Military Child.
