Update: One man has been taken into custody, according to police.
CASPER, Wyo Multiple agencies are on scene at an active police investigation outside a home near City Park in central Casper as of 10:30 pm Monday night, Dec. 28.
The Casper Police Department announced the investigation in a social media release at 7:05 pm and asked the public to avoid the area.

Oil City News reporters on the scene observed officers in tactical gear around the home. Natrona County Sheriff’s officers, Wyoming Medical Center, and Black Hills Energy are also on the scene.
