But a new addition to the renowned displays stands out more than the rest and will play a crucial role in protecting and growing the garden in future. In a UK first, the garden, which is run by the National Trust for Scotland (NTS), is installing a series of pollinator counters to measure the number of insects, particularly bees, that visit the famous attraction amid concern about declining numbers.
