The State Board of Higher Education approved the requested 2021-22 tuition changes during its regular meeting, Thursday, May 27. As part of the approval process, the board approved the system’s budget guidelines, which then go back to the university presidents to complete their 2021-23 budgets. The state Board of Higher Education will take another look at a proposed Career Academy, sponsored by the state College of Science in Wahpeton, and to be built in Fargo.
At the last Board meeting, NDSCS President John Richman told the Board the site had been secured, the leases were ready, and a virtual groundbreaking had been scheduled. But board member Kathy Neset said when the Board first considered the project – in 2017 – it only gave Richman permission to fundraise, and not to go ahead with the project. She said it was up to the Board to give NDSCS the go-ahead to do the project.

The firm said all 17 US offices will be reopened by September 7th, subject to any local Covid-19 restrictions. In setting out its plans, it becomes one of the first major US practices to provide a detailed return-to-work blueprint, although Sullivan & Cromwell chair Joseph Shenker this week told Law.com that staff would be “strongly encouraged” to return to the office from 6 July.
