They are saying if you saw this happen or saw anything before this went down, speak up at this hour, because they need to find this possible shooter or shooters before they have a chance to strike again. A guy came in saying, oh, they are shooting outside. And um, he was holding his baby and then he was just like panicking. Reporter a triple shooting that left two people dead in a East San Jose restaurant. We have multiple shots fired at the scene. Which resulted in three victims being struck by at least one round each. Reporter witnesses say a gunman walked in to the restaurant and began shooting. Three men were shot, two killed on the scene and one hospitalized with injuries. It was terrible. It was a slow crawl of cars. And that time too, it was because of the potholes. Officials tell me this freeway is due to be repaved, but they have to wait for dry weather to get that done. They say this freeway takes quite a beating with all of the trucks that it handles every single day. And then all of this wet weather, the weak road just crumbles, it cant handle it. So they do plan to repave it but they cant do it right now this this weather so now all they can do is patch it. This is the main thoroughfare for Central Valley and east Alameda County to get into oakland and San Francisco, so it is heavily traveled and today, its going to have a massive backup. The chp saying that caltrans is now estimating that theyre not going to get these lanes reopened until 3 00 this afternoon. So, the morning commute is going to be dreadful.
