"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg defended Malia Obama after social media users criticized the former first daughter for not using her famous last name to promote her first film.
The 25-year-old decided to ditch her famous surname and use the moniker Malia Ann on her debut short film, titled The Heart, in an apparent attempt to distance herself from her father.
