Apartment building in martinez. It started at 5 45 a. M. On pine street off highway 4. Flames engulfed six apartments. A woman in the unit where the fire started had smoke inhalation. A Police Officer trying to evacuate people from the building also had smoke inhalation. Firefighters say the Police Officers on scene were crucial in preventing more serious injuries.
