FORT PIERRE – Elliot Leif had his second hat trick and five-point game of the weekend Sunday as the Oahe Capitals remained unbeaten in regulation games this season with an 8-0 shutout of Sioux Center at the Expo Center.
Leif had also scored three goals and two assists Friday in a 7-3 win over Aberdeen.
Andrew Gordon scored twice Sunday for Oahe (14-0-0-1). Raef Briggs, Keenan Howard and Dre Berndt also scored. Carter Schulz had his first shutout of the season and fifth of his career with 21 saves in goal.
The Capitals will play the Rushmore Thunder Saturday in Rapid City, then host Brookings Sunday at the Expo Center.
