A small windfall. Two lads at the Orphan’s Home, Frederick and Alexander Hook, have fallen heirs to a small bit of property, amounting to about $500. They inherit this from their father who died recently. Mr. George B. Webb, Superintendent of the Home, has been appointed guardian of these small capitalists and their wee dab of a fortune.

About Tonapah (sic). H.A Cohen, agent for Captain DeLamar, returned form Tonapah Thursday. He brought with him a lot of samples. He says that he has never before seen such a fine prospect and that if the ore goes down and carries anything like the surface values Tonapah will be a great camp.
