Plagued by foul trouble much of Friday’s Lakes Valley Conference showdown between Milford and Waterford Mott, two of last year’s three co-champs, Carson Lutz hit a trio of Big Boy free throws with 8.2 seconds left to put the Mavericks ahead by one, and they held on for a 43-42 win.
