The Capital City Community Band awarded its Carson City Community, Richard Doede Scholarship to Zach Carpenter at its Salute To Young Musicians concert on Sunday.
The Capital City Community Band awarded its first Richard Doede Capital City Community Band scholarships to three young members of the band at its Salute To Young Musicians Concert on Sunday.
Both Carson High School Wind Ensemble and Concert Bands achieved superior ratings, the highest possible rating. Twelve bands from Churchill, Douglas, Fernley and Dayton competed in the Northern Zone Nevada Music Educators Association High School Band Festival at the Carson City Community Center on March 7, 2019.
