With Thanksgiving a week away, signups are in the final stretch for the annual Carson City Turkey Trot, a holiday family walk and fun run held ahead of morning football games and big afternoon and evening dinners. Get some exercise with hundreds of your fellow Carson City neighbors during this annual event hosted by St. Teresa Catholic School.
Registration is now open for the the 2019 Carson City Turkey Trot, a local holiday tradition where hundreds of runners and walkers, some dressed in Thanksgiving costumes, get in a good fitness workout ahead of their respective family afternoon holiday feasts.
The last Thursday of November means a big gobble gobble, Happy Thanksgiving to all. Enjoy in the games, festivities, activities at home and outdoors. Events are at a minimum, for obvious reasons, but the two big ones are traditions for us in the capital city.
