On Saturday, Dec. 31 at around 7:30 a.m. the General Investigators Office of Nevada Department of Corrections, the Special Enforcement Team of the Carson City Sheriff s Office, and the Douglas County Sheriff s Office K-9 Unit conducted a joint operation to investigate Furnishing a Controlled Substance to a State Prisoner.
A Carson City man was arrested Friday on suspicion of felony child abuse. A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 3:45 p.m. in the 600 block of West King Street for suspicion of six felony prescription drug charges and two misdemeanor charges of violation of bail conditions, a Carson City sheriff s deputy said.
