The evangelical Calvary Chapel in San Jose was ordered to pay over $200K in contempt-of-court fines over its defiance of county public health orders in 2020, but a state appeals court has just overturned that and ruled in favor of the church, because of Amy Coney Barrett.
"I don’t want to have a baby right now. If I were to get pregnant and I lived in a southern state where I could not get an abortion that would be absolutely terrifying,” one woman said.
