A new study of Census Bureau data reveals the influence of "immigration from abroad" on the U.S. population. Kenneth M. Johnson a senior demographer at the Carsey School of Public Policy and professor of sociology at the University of New Hampshire has delved into newly released Census numbers. "Immigration from abroad, which increased last year, accounted for 80% of the population gain," he said.
