PITTSBURG, Ks. – Kansas Governor Laura Kelly has announced the state’s finalized vaccine distribution order based on guidance from the Kansas Coronavirus Vaccine Advisory Council.
It divides vaccinations into five phases and phase one begins with health care workers, as well as residents and patients in long term care facilities and senior housing.
Sarah Pollet is the dietary manager at Pittsburg’s Carrington Place, a senior living facility, and she agrees with the state’s phase one priorities.
“I do think (seniors) should be at the top of the line. They are the most vulnerable,” said Sarah.
