Understanding the depth of his impact, the Zuercher Family made the decision to keep Terryâs legacy alive by establishing a scholarship in his memory.
Zuercher spent his entire teaching career at Shelby City Schools. He was invested in the youth, not just educating their minds, but also providing guidance by encouraging them to better themselves and their community.
Spending over 57 seasons as a coach, he instilled self-discipline and the importance of character in the countless youths he guided. For that reason, it was a natural fit for his family to establish a scholarship benefiting Shelby Seniors that he spent his entire career fostering.
