An Albertan husband is living up to the vows in sickness and health, recently learning to curl hair to help his wife of 50 years.
Carrie Hannah is the Director of Delmar College of Hair & Aesthetics in Red Deer, Alberta. We had the gentleman come to our school, says Hannah. He wanted to know if we were offering any courses.

A 79-year-old man went to beauty school to learn how to do his wife s hair and makeup since she can no longer get ready on her own.
He walked into Delmar College of Hair and Esthetics and told director Carrie Hannah that his wife s appearance is important to her but she s losing her vision. Carrie said he wanted to learn how to do his wife s hair because she kept burning herself with a curling iron. So, the school set the him up with a student and mannequin to teach him how to curl hair and protect his wife s skin. They also taught him how to apply mascara.
