Nancy Long was born Aug. 5, 1934 in Boothbay Harbor. She was the daughter of Parker and Carrie Bennet Brewer. Nancy grew up in, and attended local schools, graduating from Boothbay High School in 1952. While attending school, she was a cheerleader.
