Carrabelle Museum Day
Back by popular demand, all three Carrabelle museums – Carrabelle History Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston Museum, and Crooked River Lighthouse – will be celebrating Museum Day on Saturday, May 1. This year, the Carrabelle museums will use Museum Day to pay tribute to the members and veterans of our country’s Armed Forces as part of National Military Appreciation Month. The museums will have special displays featuring some Franklin County people who served in the military as well as those from the U.S. Lighthouse Service. Admission to all three museums is free for everyone. Plus there will be free lighthouse tower climbs for all military active duty and veterans on May 1st. Be sure to take advantage of Museum Day and visit all three!
