This does come after gains for all three at the major averages yesterday. Treasury yields have picked up a little bit. We have looked at the 10year treasury above 4. 3 . Now at 4. 26 . 2year treasury has been just at 5 . It is at 4. 98 right now. Lets update you on the looming auto workers strike. Shawn fain said the union and automakers are far apart ahead of the likely strikes. The strikes would begin at an limited number of locations. An allout strike is still a possibility. Fain providing clarity with talks with each of the big three. Ford offered a 20 raise followed by gm at 18 and stellantis at 17. 5 . The union has been pushing for a 40 wage increase. In the meantime, a bitter battle of words with jim farley saying fains accusation saying they are not negotiating and not showing up at the bargaining table.

It wasnt a general extension of the admin code. It was specific to this contract. Which allowed us to incorporate some provisions to protect the workers for particularly in terms of retention and in terms of prevailing wage. So it is something that we, i think, were able to do success

Means its necessary or that it makes us safer. But it im not saying it doesnt make us safer either. I just wish we had more options in terms of nonlethal options. And we explored daytime versus nighttime. I get the nighttime obviously. That off the bat i understood immediately. I just wish we had time to explore less guns on the street and other nonlethal options. We werent able to do that in this time. I appreciate they get more training than was initially presented to us last week. Firing range is different from a moving target in a very busy city. I would like to understand that a little more as we move forward. But i certainly think safety is a top issue for our employees. If we look at safety, we have to look at our bus drivers, because theyre the ones where we have a history of demonstration of attacks and assaults on our bus drivers. We havent seen it yet with our fare collectors. This is where the questions come up if our goal is really ut most safety for our what are we doing
