Now that her kids have grown up, stay-at-home-mom Isabella, 52, is seeking full-time employment. But without a degree, she’s wondering what her options are for finding work in the social services sector. “I enjoy helping people,” Isabella writes. “When I am able to make a difference in someone’s life by assisting and guiding them, it energizes me and gives me a sense of purpose.”
Isabella has experience as an activities assistant at a retirement home. She has also worked as a remote receptionist for a therapy clinic. However, she believes she has been overlooked for positions in social services due to her lack of education. “I feel not having a degree puts me at a disadvantage,” says Isabella. “I’m hoping the right opportunity comes along even without a degree, but I understand I may need to get some type of education in order to find a fulfi
Cuba Police Arrest Bolivar Woman on Burglary and Criminal Mischief Charges

CUBA, NY Cuba Police arrested a Bolivar woman on charges of burglary and criminal mischief Tuesday at approximately 6:20 p.m.
According to a post on the Facebook page of the Cuba Police Department, Carolyn Rhodes, 38, was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Rhodes was processed and given an appearance ticket to appear in Cuba Town Court at a later date.
