The Golden Lion Café in Flagler Beach has donated its 50,000th meal.
Creating a product line of sauces from the Golden Lion Café, the Marlow family began bottling and selling at Publix Supermarkets their Key Lime Tartar Sauce in 2015, followed by the Dat’l Pepper Cocktail Sauce. The sauces can be found on Publix shelves in the Southeast, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting food pantries.
Feeding families has been passion for the Marlow family since Tony and Carolyn Marlow opened the doors to the “King of the Beach” in 1992, and as a second generation restaurateur, the couple’s son Chris is expanding on the family’s love of community with philanthropic efforts to give back.
