Memorial Weekend Camping Trip @ Beaver Brook Campground, Monmouth Maine [Gallery]
Because we are creatures of habit, and because it s the unofficial kickoff to summer, we go camping with our friends and family each and every Memorial Day weekend. And, most of the time, that trip happens at Beaver Brook Campground.
It was a fantastic weekend of relaxing, playing cornhole, sitting by the fire, playing mini-golf, listening to live music, and of course enjoying a couple-two-three adult beverages in the evening.
Sure the weather might have been less than optimal and fairly chilly, but that didn t stop our insane children from wanting to go swimming in the campground s outdoor pool. Mind you the pool is heated, but the outside temp was still only 48 degrees when they decided to jump in.
