City council endorsed a staff report that recommended amending a 2018 zoning bylaw that allowed up to one residential suite to double it to two ‘residential units.’
The report say the amendments fall in line with Ontario's Bill 23 More Homes Built Faster Act to encourage more housing builds and boost housing supplies within municipalities.
