The African Synodality Initiative (ASI), a collaboration of the Jesuit Conference of Africa and Madagascar (JCAM), the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa & Madagascar (SECAM) and the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa (AMECEA) has organized a post-synodal Zoom webinar titled ‘Walking the Synodal Path: Reflections on the Synod on Synodality – Voices from Africa’.
In response to this desire of the cloistered nuns who have dedicated themselves to a life of contemplation and prayer for the Church and world to know more about the Synod on Synodality, ASI held a formation workshop on Synodality with the Discalced Carmelite (OCD) nuns from August 2 to 3, 2023, at their monastery in Kisii, Kenya.
