Gwyneth Paltrow is not a dermatologist. Or an aesthetician. Or a doctor. I just wanted to get that out of the way, because in the Goop founder’s latest offering of wellness ‘advice’, in a video entitled Everyday Guide to Skin Care and Wellness on the American Vogue website, she waxes lyrical about the dangers of sunscreen. It was highlighted by the leading British skincare expert Caroline Hirons to her Instagram channel yesterday, and prompted a flurry of posts by dermatologists who were horrified at Paltrow’s advice.
