Kiruna is an Australian actress, who lives and works in the UK. Kiruna’s career is international, but she likes to get back to Australia for work as often as possible. She made her professional acting debut in Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge in 1999.  She then travelled to England where she studied Shakespearean and Jacobean Theatre at LAMDA. Kiruna is presenter on Play School entertaining and delighting a whole generation of Australian children.  Kiruna is also a trained dancer specializing in tap and contemporary dance, she has worked with leading dance innovators, Caroline Bowditch, Marc Brew, Sue Healey, John ‘cha cha’ O’Connell, Shaun Parker and Christina Tingskog.   Kiruna says, "'Whilst my work is heavily influenced by my own experiences of dwarfism, disability, gender. etc. No singular discourse defines my identity or my work."
