Brown Bag Concerts return to Anna Gray Noe Park

Celebrating Spring, the Arts Council Brown Bag Concerts Series returns each Wednesday at noon in April at Anna Gray Noe Park in downtown Monroe (across from St. Francis Medical Center at 309 Jackson St., Monroe.
Bring a picnic lunch or pick up a $5 box lunch on site from Newk’s including half a chicken salad sandwich or half an oven-roasted turkey sandwich with chips and dessert. Cash or credit/debit cards are accepted.
Continuing a tradition, Mulhearn’s will provide free cookies.
Drinks are available courtesy of First Baptist of Monroe and Newk’s.

For “Albums Revisited,” Poughkeepsie theater the Bardavon’s ongoing all-star tributes to classic albums to classic albums, the spotlight will shine on Carole King’s 1971 bestseller,
Tapestry. The YouTube series returns on February 10 at 8pm with musical appearances by Annie Lennox, Carly Simon, Kate Pierson with the Restless Age, Kat Quinn, Jill Sobule, Dar Williams, Cindy Cashdollar, Jonatha Brooke, Patti Rothberg, Laura Stevenson, Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones, and others. The livestream is free, with a suggested donation for the artists.
