The hue is caused by staining from a chemical found in the womb called biliverdin, but Shamrock's Florida breeders say they've never seen anything like it before.
The six-week-old pooch, named Shamrock, was welcomed to the world in Pensacola, Florida on March 3 with a “lucky” green hue likely caused by bile in her mother’s womb, according to owner Carole DeBruler.
