Public and private funding is flowing to SUNY campuses, including community colleges, for workforce training seen as a boost to the colleges and a boon to local employers.
Stony Brook University, Farmingdale State College and Suffolk County Community College, along with four other SUNY schools, will share $4 million in state money.
