jolt. mornings on 2 begins right now. well, good morning to you. welcome to mornings on 2. i m dave clark. i m tori campbell. it s tuesday, april 26th. antioch police make an arrest overnight just hours after a deadly shooting. allie rasmus talked with neighbors who say they know why the gunman targeted the victim. neighbors say the victim helped out a roommate in the past, defending her from what neighbors describe as her violent ex-boyfriend. antioch police say it was that ex-boyfriend who came to the home around 9:30 last night, got in a confrontation and shot and killed the 26-year-old man. we only know the victim s first name, dave. antioch police not releasing his full identity yet. neighbors say he had recently turned his life around. he was working hard at a new career after surviving a serious car crash a few months ago. he s been working really hard, trying to get everything together. he was a good kid. he didn t deserve this. reporter: now, last night

the bay bridge toll plaza. san mateo bridge toll plaza and the span itself the traffic is smooth. topping our news right now the muni driver that made big head lines for texting while driving is still on the job. ktvu kraig debro is in san francisco with that story. good morning. reporter: good morning, dave. i m at the pa tear row division bus yard. i wanted to talk to drivers and union officials. i also spoke to paul rose. he s a spokesperson for muni. he tells me this morning that the driver accused of texting is still employed by muni and in fact he just told me just seconds ago that she was driving yesterday but she shouldn t have been. she should have been on some other duty. there will be a hearing today if the unidentified female driver will remain in muni s control. there is a broad report quoting union officials saying the driver will be fired. it shows a muni driver texting child driving. the driver admitted texting she admitted texting but said she pulled ov

letter. ktvu s eric rasmussen on the arrest of a serial killing suspect. reporter: bay area investigators say they ve solved the cold case killings of four women with the arrest of this man 77-year-old joseph naso. we are going forward on four murder counts. reporter: marin county district attorney bavarian says the oldest case goes back to 1977 when the body of roxanne roggasch was found. he is also accused of killing car men colon. we are not going to be taking any questions. reporter: the da would not say whether dna linked him to the victims. only that items found at his home had them come back to the investigation. led marin investigators to connect naso with the death of rogash. now naso could finally be held responsible, prosecutors will say they will try him for all four murders at once making him eligible for the death penalty. eric rasmussen. the arrest is also drawing attention from rochester new york. three girls were killed there in the early 70s.
