The Weather Service has issued a winter advisory for four counties in playing wesley carroll, frederick, Washington Counties in maryland, and Morgan County in west virginia. Rioting broke out after a county prosecutor announced that nine white and three africanamerican jurors decided not to indict Police Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in august. Their decision was based on 70 hours of testimony from about 60 witnesses. This morning the mayor of st. Louis condemned the violence. It really sets back the cause of social justice. Hello, thanks for joining us. Many of us in the dc metro area woke up to a fresh dusting of snow but the heaviest snow fell in maryland. Even though several inches fell, most commuters had no problem getting rid of it. Reporter it is another snow day for many in the dc metro area. In this frigid weather, snow removal is not a fun chore. But it is not a big burden, either. It actually is so light, it just, you could almost use a broom. And i have like a scoop, like i just scooped it up. Last week the snowfall in Southern Maryland is more of a snowball making snow. And it is a little bit wetter and heavier, but todays snow is really light and fluffy. It doesnt compact well. But that makes it really easy to clean off the car. It also makes it easy to clear off the sidewalk. The snow removal crew at the Jefferson Memorial used a leaf blower on the sidewalks surrounding the area. Lets get some predictions. This is not going to be a blockbuster storm closing down the whole state, but it is a respectable little storm coming through. It will start between 3 006 00 a. M. And end in the late afternoon. It is a quick moving out the storm. Mostly snow in the northern suburbs. Total accumulations will range from 1 inch in the Southern Suburbs to may be up to four inches in the far northern and southern northern and western suburbs.
