Jones, James M. "Jim" Jim Jones, age 78, of Coon Rapids, MN passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2023, doing one of the things he loved doing most, playing golf. Jim was born on August 11, 1944 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Jim was an employee of United Parcel Service for 35 years. Jim was an avid gardener, a fisherman and hunter and a diehard Minnesota sports team fan. Jim was a longtime member of Hidden Haven Golf Course in Ham Lake, MN and will be remembered for his passion and dedication to the game of golf. Jim was involved with various youth golf programs over the years and enjoyed the opportunity to introduce the game of golf to many young people. Jim was survived by his wife Donna, son Chris, son Michael (Minzi), son Jason (Elizabeth) grandsons Drake, Dillon and Jacob and granddaughters Harper and Caitlin. Jim was preceded in death by his mother Geraldine, brothers Jerry and Thomas and sister Carol Butler. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ma
