Rain and ice yesterday and overnight have caused several closings and cancellations today. Fairfield Community High School; Wayne City Schools; Jasper, New Hope, and Fairfield District 112 schools; all Clay County schools, and Little Prairie and Fairfield First Christian Church preschools are closed today. IECC classes are cancelled today across Frontier, Lincoln Trail, Olney Central, and Wabash Valley colleges. Horizon Healthcare Clinics in Carmi, Cisne, and Grayville are closed, but other Fairfield Memorial Hospital operations will be open, even if on a limited basis. Horizon, the Orthopedic Surgical Center, and the Pain Management Clinic in Fairfield will be open from 10 to 4 and Urgent Care and the RISC Tent will be open from 9 to 4. The Christopher Rural Health Fairfield Community Health Center is closed today. Hamilton Memorial McLeansboro and Carmi Family clinics are closed today, but they will be open from 9 to 4 tomorrow.
