White County Election Results

Issues with a machine at the White County courthouse delayed results Tuesday night. Voter turnout was dismal however throughout the region. In Hamilton County, only 18.6% of eligible voters turned out. Officials with County Clerk Heather Bowman's office said 1,025 ballots were cast out of a possible 5,512. A similar story played out in Wayne County where only about 10% of eligible voters turned out. In White County, voter turnout was a hair better at 21.9%. Lacey Bradshaw appears headed to the Carmi City Council. She leads incumbent Jim Totten 191 to 155 with some mail-in ballots still to come in. Crossville Village Trustee seats will go to Nikki Jacobs, Wes Trout, and Bruce Morlock. They each picked up 47, 46, and 44 votes respectively. Cindy Westfall came up short picking up 27 votes. NCOE School Board results are also in. When combined with Hamilton County votes, Kyle Hoskins, Rhonda Sutton Forston, and Matt McArthy all won seats. Hoskins was the top vote-getter with 355. McArt
