Pandemic pushes presentation of Nova awards to a later date SHARE ON:
The Timmins Chamber of Commerce has pushed back the virtual presentation of its Nova business awards.
Manager of business services Carmen Swartz says instead of May 19th, it’s now set for June 17th.
“This is supposed to be an evening to celebrate with staff teams,” she explains. “It just doesn’t have that same flavour when you have to stay at home and not even get together with anyone outside your household.”
The hope is that by June 17th, restrictions will be eased enough to allow small gatherings.
