The Maricopa High School student who went missing from school Thursday has been found.
Maeva McGuire, 17, was located Saturday evening at the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Phoenix, according to her aunt and guardian Carly Hall. She was safe.
Hall said she received a notification that Maeva’s phone was at the station. Her family responded and was able to locate her.
On Thursday evening, Maeva told staff at RAM Academy she was leaving with her uncle, but the male driver was not a relative. She was last seen in a blue sports car as it drove away from the school.

A Maricopa High School student left class Thursday and jumped into a blue sports car that drove away.
The student, Maeva McGuire, 17, told staff at the RAM Academy she was leaving with her uncle, but the male driver was not a relative, Carly Hall, her aunt and guardian, said Friday afternoon.
Hall said RAM Academy has a hands-free policy so staffers could not keep her from getting in the car willingly. She remains missing and her family has not heard from her and has no way to track her whereabouts.
GENEVA East Liverpool senior high jumper Cameron Beverly is making up for lost time.
After advancing to the state track meet as a sophomore and having his junior outdoor season wiped out by the coronavirus pandemic, Beverly captured a state title Friday.
Beverly won the Division II-III high jump title at the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches (OATCCC) indoor state championship.
Beverly cleared 6-foot-4 at SPIRE Institute to top the field. Carrollton senior Talen Timberlake was second in (6-2).
The two high jumpers met on the basketball court on Jan. 19 with the Potters winning 76-61. Timberlake scored 16 points and Beverly 12 in the contest.
