For the past few years members of the Verrazano Kiwanis Club and “Wreath’s Across America,” whose mission is to “Remember, Honor and Teach” by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and at more than 2,100 additional locations in 50 U.S. states and abroad have partnered to raise funds for veterans and their families.
For the 2020 holiday season the Verrazano Kiwanis Club and The Carl V. Bini Foundation partnered to purchase and install a 30-foot flag pole in the name of U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher Slow.
