Pic: Google A LANDMARK Old Hill entertainments venue looks set to be demolished and houses built on the site. Developer Blue Stone Homes wants to flatten The Regis on Reddal Hill Road and build homes in its place. It has put in an application for outline planning permission to Sandwell Council. Built in 1951, the art-deco style hall hosted top names including The Drifters during the swinging sixties. It is owned by Halesowen businessman Tony Billingham, who also owns Lapal House Care home. A design and access statement submitted to Sandwell Council by Wiltshire based Blue Stones Homes notes that: It is likely that small two-storey semi-detached dwellings will be built.
