(CEDAR HILL, TEXAS) The Cedar Hill High School Football Team has established itself as one of the top prep football teams in the Metroplex during the 21st Century.
But the Longhorns accomplished a rare feat on Friday night, recording the program’s first postseason shutout in a 27-0 victory over Bryan in the UIL Class 6A Division II Bi-District Playoffs.
The Longhorns improved to 12-3 in playoff openers since 2005, which means it was their 12th bi-district championship during that span.
Senior quarterback Kaidon Salter, a Tennessee commit, scored all four of the Longhorns’ touchdowns – passing for 187 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for 104 yards and a score.
they have the street in front of the school completely cordoned off here and people wearing special gear went inside and they were inside for about 1520, minutes and they just emerged from the front door of the school. we are told that the students who did arrive this morning are sheltering in place but that no one is being let inside or outside. the school received a suspicious letter this morning. a letter with a suspicious white powder. we are also just learning that there is another suspicious letter being checked out by authorities hering in the district at 12th street. that location is a restaurant. now yesterday there was a similar letter with white powder that turned up in oyster adams elementary school. since monday, three d.c. businesses have received letters. now, yesterday the fbi sent out this internal memo outlining what s been going on here. since 2007, there have been 360 of these suspicious letters. they have been sent to various locations around the country
